Job Description

Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and testing procedures for new and existing software applications. Identify project risks related to software quality, timelines, or functionality and recommend mitigation strategies. Perform software testing using manual testing techniques, automated testing tools, and exploratory testing methods. Analyze test results and document, track, and report software defects clearly and accurately. Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and stakeholders to provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance. Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards. Ensure software releases meet functional and quality requirements before deployment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • US work authorization required.

Working within an Agile Scrum software development methodology to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Developing applications in distributed environments. Utilizing AWS services such as AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS CLI/YAML/CloudFormation, and Serverless Deployment. Handling application integrations using technologies including SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, and file/data transfers.

Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead

Duties Include

Work closely with CAT Modeling and IT Leads to create effective solutions for business needs, encompassing people, process, and technology. Develop high-level designs and initial estimates for technological solutions. Ensure consistent and standard application development practices across all projects and enhancements. Implement EA governance procedures. Collaborate with technology staff (developers, DBAs, application experts) for deployment and maintenance of complex software. Exposure to and experience with cloud computing/design, particularly Azure. Participate in technical innovation proof-of-concepts as required. Design bespoke web-based solutions and integrate with in-house and third-party solutions using modern APIs and integration/middleware technology. Build and maintain a service repository (enterprise API/services). Drive solution changes and promote group-wide awareness. Identify new IT trends and innovations relevant to specific business segments/functions. Collaborate with dev team leads and architects for overall solution review.
